Why we made it
Most fish oil on the shelf is rancid before it is opened, and rancidity is invisible: you cannot taste it through a capsule. Puori set a freshness limit and publishes the measurement for every batch rather than asking to be trusted on it.
04How to take it
Figures awaiting label data from Puori
- Directions
- Three capsules daily with a meal. Fat helps the absorption, so take them with food rather than on an empty stomach.
- Storage
- Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed once opened.
- Caution
- A food supplement, not a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of small children. Speak to your doctor first if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking prescribed medication.
Fish oil concentrate (anchovy, sardine), capsule shell (fish gelatine, glycerol, water), natural lemon oil, antioxidant (D-alpha-tocopherol).
Allergens. Contains fish. Produced in a facility that also handles soy.
05What we test for
Every batch goes to an independent laboratory before it is released, and the report is published rather than summarised. These are the three screens it covers.
- Heavy metals
- Lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic, screened against the strictest published limits.
- Purity
- Contaminants, residues and microbiology, on the finished batch rather than the raw material.
- Potency
- That what the label claims is what the capsule holds, verified after production.
The reports are published by Puori for every batch they produce. Certificates for the batches sold in North Macedonia will be linked here at launch.
